I have the tendency to shoot dark. I dreamily admire other photographer's whose style has an almost translucent lightness to it, yet it's not how I see or instinctively shoot. I think my "style" (not that I feel I have one) stems from film, how it can be dark and gritty. I miss that rough, grainy feeling of film. I really need to shoot film more.On a lighter (no pun intended) note, the leafs of my basil plant are huge!
