My Christmas cactus has bloomed on Christmas Eve. How perfect!

They have such stunning flowers.


Speaking of pretty things, the kitty got part of her Christmas gift a day early and she looooved it. She played for hours with that pom pom toy just like she used to do as a kitten.

Aside from some finishing touches (a metal snap) I made up a wallet by sewing scrapbook paper in between vinyl, based on this tutorial. I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

It's about time to start holiday baking with some spiced pumpkin cookies.

Lately my cat is becoming more of a lap cat, especially in the morning when I have hot coffee and oatmeal that she can make me spill by jumping on my lap. But you can't get mad at something so cute.
