Self Portrait 45/365; Year II. I came home this evening and had to take advantage of that small window of time where the warm indoor light compliments the crisp outdoor light and take my self portrait in both at once.

The first thing most people think about after an ice storm is how much they hate to drive in it. The first (middle, and last) thing I think about is how beautiful it is!
I hope the pictures speak better than my words. There's something so positively captivating about the way ice makes a sunset look completely new.
And I've always loved how gently snow forms into little mountains and valley.

For dinner I made homemade vodka sauce and (not)meatballs. I forgot how easy pasta sauce is to make. I stopped eating it all together for a long time because all the unnecessary ingredients in prepared sauce.

I went out and played in the snow until my fingers could no longer feel my camera remote...which happened pretty quickly. Now that I'm looking over the images on my computer I realize I should not use this lens anymore...it just doesn't shoot as good quality as my other lens.

Self Portrait 35/365; Year II. I woke up with a horrible headache. I can only recall one other time in the past year I've had a headache this bad. Luckily, after 8 ibuprofen, it was gone!
